There are many Idaho Wedding Locations to choose from, each offering different features!

It is never too early to find that perfect wedding site that appeals to you and your fiancé.  I suggest that you set an appointment to tour those potential facilities to see which venue is the perfect match for your special day.  During the telephone interviewing process pre-screen the venue to find out if your date is available, determine if the maximum occupancy will be adequate for the size of your event, ask if that venue has a website, and inquire if you can have a ceremony and/or wedding reception.  For example, The Penthouse at C.W. Moore Plaza offers both inside and outside options.  Many of our couples will have the ceremony on the outside patio terrace; following the ceremony guests will relocate inside for the reception.   

I highly suggest clients come prepared for their site tours.  Visit the potential venue websites and make a list of questions you might have specific to each site.  A great idea is to create a form specific for each site to make comparisons much easier. Some items that could be included on this form would be the rental rate, what is included in the rental, any additional fees, parking capabilities, catering and bar service policies, furniture provisions and janitorial services, to name a few.  You might consider taking a few pictures of the venue to go with your forms.   

During the site tour is an excellent time to review the contract.  Make sure to come away with everything that would be included with your rental in writing.  Do not be afraid to ask too many questions! 

After all of the site tours you can compare the venues and determine which site is the perfect match for you! I suggest that couples lock in their ceremony and reception venue at least 8 to 12 months in advance.  When you are ready to make your event reservation find out what forms of payment are accepted.  Remember, it is essential that you obtain a copy of the contract and receipts for your cleaning and rental deposits.
